Sipo 2012 will include a talk by Rui Moreira, president of Porto's Commercial Association, entitled The European Essence.

Organ concert at the Santa Maria church
SIPO 2011 will include an organ concert at the Santa Maria church, on 5 August 2011, 5.30pm. With this concert, ACIM contributes to the celebration of 500 years of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Óbidos (Óbidos' Holy House of Mercy), part of a Portuguese charity founded in Lisbon in 1498 by Queen Leonor of Portugal.

Since 1996, the International Piano Master-classes and Festival of Óbidos – Semana Internacional de Piano de Óbidos – SIPO is a landmark in the international music landscape.
